Cover Crazy: Illusion

The purpose of Cover Crazy is to feature a cover each week for us  to admire its beauty. I really like this idea since there are so many great covers out there! Cover Crazy is a meme that was started by The Book Worms.

This week I'm featuring
Illusion by Martina Boone

Illusion's cover is done is a beautiful turquoise green. I'm hoping the color alludes to warmer, happier times for Barrie and friends. I hope that the image of the couple walking across what looks like a bridge signifies that problems will be mended, and that Barrie and Eight will figure out how to build a future together. The shadows behind them tell me that there will always be a Watson Island legacy, but that perhaps they have changed it a little.
 
This cover is lovely on its own, but the three covers of the series all side-by-side are really lovely. The style is congruent, though the colors and background photos vary. They tell much of the story themselves, if one looks carefully.
