Goodbye to 2013: Julie's Giveaway
Last year we featured our top 12 favorite reads and gave our readers a chance to win our favorites. This year we are showcasing our top 13 reads of 2013 and giving you a chance to win some books! Each day from December 28 - January 2 we will highlight the list of one of our Larks. Our followers can enter to win ONE book of their choice from each featured list. You are free to enter each day's giveaway. The giveaway begins today and runs through January 9th. Winners will be announced on January 10th.
Today we're featuring Julie's 2013 list. The books on the list weren't necessarily published in 2013, but they were all read in 2013.

Love that choice! I'm a bit of a book pimp for Eleanor & Park. ;) I tell pretty much every person I know to read it, and thus far, no one has been disappointed.
DeleteZ: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald by Therese Anne Fowler
ReplyDeleteIf you win I hope you enjoy it! I'm a big Fitzgerald fan and I loved it!
DeleteI would pick Eleanor & Park. Everyone seems to love that one!
ReplyDeleteI know I sound like a broken record, but it really IS as good as everyone says. I finished it in two days. :)
DeleteI'd choose the Night Circus! :) Been wanting to read that one.
ReplyDeleteI loved it! I encouraged our students to pick it for the school Book Club I'm the adviser for. I knew that when I described it as "Water for Elephants meets Harry Potter" they'd be on board. ;)
DeleteThe Maze Runner.
ReplyDeleteA fantastic choice! Especially before the movie comes out in the fall.
DeleteI'd pick Eleanor and Park. I keep hearing such great things about it.
ReplyDeleteI can't say enough good things about that title!! :)
DeleteThe Maze Runner :-)
ReplyDeleteA great choice!!
DeleteI think I'd pick Z. I've always thought that Scott and Zelda were quite a fascinating couple. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteCarl, I'm the same way. I've always loved them together. The insane (literally) devotion is as attractive to me as they are for some reason. It really was a great dread, especially if you know even slivers of info about them and their lives.
DeleteIt's Night Circus or Someday, Someday, Maybe.
ReplyDeleteIt's either Night Circus or Someday, Someday, Maybe.
ReplyDeleteBoth GREAT choices!
DeleteI think Someday, Someday, Maybe
ReplyDeleteLauren Graham really surprised me with this one. I was hopeful but the book exceeded my expectations entirely! :)
DeleteI think I would choose Eleanor and Park.
ReplyDeleteI gave my daughter a copy of this for Christmas and she read it in a few days. She's a reader (and has decided to go for an English major next year at college), but she rarely does that with books anymore. It was so nice to see her laying in bed reading like the old days when she was in middle school and read a ton. :)
DeleteEleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
ReplyDeleteYay for another E&P!
DeleteI would choose The Maze Runner.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
You're so welcome! Thanks for participating and giving us a chance to spread some book love!! ;)
DeleteI would love to have a copy of The Night Circus, I really want to re-read it.
ReplyDeleteI am SO thrilled that our school book club picked that as a reading selection because I want to re-read it too!
DeleteSomeday, Someday, Maybe or Night Circus, both sounds amazing
