Teaser Tuesday: Wicked, Tell the Wolves I'm Home, & I Was Here

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly feature, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

Lying in my bowl was a houseguest I wasn't quite sure how I ended up with but couldn't seem to get rid of. Tiny arms and legs were sprawled across a bed of cereal. Not a single marshmallow was in sight, and I'd bet all the money in my savings account that the best part of the cereal was in the distended belly of the brownie passed out in my cereal bowl.

Crocodile was a name Finn invented for me because he said I was like something from another time that lurked around, watching and waiting, before I made my mind up about things. I loved when he called me that.

~ Tell the Wolves I'm Home by Carol Rifka Brunt, pg. 7

"Anything that kills hope is a sin."

~ I Was Here by Gayle Forman, pg. 204

  3. Wicked made me laugh. I was trying to figure out what ate the marshmallows. LOL
And crocodile would be a good tag for my son. He's like that too.
