We decided that Thursday needed a little pizazz and stumbled on this meme while hanging out at one of our favorite blogs, A Book and a Cupcake. So we took ourselves over to The Unread Reader to see what it was all about and join the fun. The Unread Reader features this meme on Wednesdays, but we figured moving our participation to Thursday wouldn't hurt anything. Since this is our first one I had to go back to the man who caught me eye when I first returned to reading the YA genre. For those of you who know me well - you probably already knew he was going to be first.

Why he's my book boyfriend:


I love that Emmett is such a fun, lovable, loyal character. He would do anything for those he loves and he wants to protect everyone all the time. I also love the sarcastic jock types; they have always been my weakness. I wish that there had been more of Emmett in the books and the movies. Also, I love that Emmett has roots in the South like me. 

Who would be my perfect Emmett?


I will be honest - I always pictured Daniel Cudmore when I was reading the books. When the cast was announced I thought Kellan Lutz was too small to be able to pull it off, but after seeing the movies I don't think Emmett could ever be anyone but him for me now.
