Music Monday - 2/14/11

Music Monday is our chance to feature music that we really love. Many writers use a writing playlist to help set the mood and tone of the scenes they are writing. We like to spotlight music from our favorite authors' playlists, but sometimes we just go with our current favorite songs.

In keeping with the Valentine's Day theme, I chose an older song that I think is just so romantic. I love Colbie Caillat's music. Magic is one of my favorite songs of hers, and I love the version with Jason Reeves. I couldn't find an official video for this version, so this is a fan-made video I found on YouTube. The video itself is very simple so the focus here is on the song, the lyrics, and the beauty of the music. It makes me want to cozy up under the stars on a blanket on the beach next to a bonfire.
