Now I'm worried I didn't care for Phury's book and to be honest the only one I didn't. I really loved Rehv's book it was amazing. JM I haven't read yet but I think I might be doing that this week.

I absolutely agree with you, that Payne/Manny part of the book was little cheesy and flat.
I also loved that Vishous and Jane took so many pages in this book! I think that was the better part of Lover Unleashed.

Lover Unleashed is about Payne and her path with falling for Dr.Manuel Manello. The doctor is brought in to save her from her devestating injury. They find that they have attraction for each other that they can't ignore. I think this book will be just as great as the ones before it. I can't wait till it releases! I really enjoy the whole Black Dagger Brotherhood series as well as the Night Huntress series by Jeanine Frost. If you haven't read them check them out.
