Teaser Tuesday: Walk the Wild Road & The Art of Forgetting

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
At night, he slept in the dunes, soothed by the rhythm of the breaking waves and warmed by the closeness of Bel. During the daytime, on the long, tiring slog along the beach, he gazed in awe at the ceaseless movement of the sea, watching how the immense stretch of water changed color endlessly with the mood of the sky - from blue to gray, and from golden to bloody in the light of the rising or setting sun.

"If I hadn't already seen the pictures, Julia's letter would have had me in tears. Not a day goes by that I don't wish we could rewind time and change what happened on that fated September evening. But as I stare down at the faded three-by-five images in their white wooden frames, there is no question that things will never, ever be the same again."
~ The Art of Forgetting by Camille Noe Pagan, pg. 129

  1. Those are both pretty fantastic teaser sentences. I've never read either book, but they both look really good.
