Q: Let's step away from besties...What is the worst book that you've ever read and actually finished?

Tevya:
I really don't like saying a book is the worst. Just because I don't like a book doesn't mean that someone out there doesn't love it. That being said, I'm one of those people who has to like a book in order to finish it. If I'm not into a book, I can't get through it and I will end up not finishing it. My best example of this is the second book of the Outlander series. I liked Outlander enough to get the rest of the books in the series, but then I just couldn't get into Dragonfly in Amber. It's been two years now, and DIA is still sitting on my nightstand waiting for me to finish it. I keep getting distracted by books that I can get drawn into easily.

Andrea:
I hate saying that books are the worst I have ever read because I think there is an audience out there for everything so just because I didn't dig it doesn't mean that nobody will like it. I think the book I enjoyed the least so far this year that I actually finished would be Matched by Ally Condie. I know lots of people love this book, but I really had a hard time getting into it and finishing it felt like a chore. It isn't badly written - just not for me.
