Back to the Books Giveaway Hop: Stop #98
Reading Lark is very excited to be participating in this fun giveaway hop hosted by I Am a Reader, Not a Writer and Buried in Books. We are stop #98 on this hop. Contest runs September 1-7. We will announce the Reading Lark winners on September 8th.
Over 200 blogs are participating in this hop, so be sure to check out what's being given away at each blog. You have a ton of chances to win some really great books! Most importantly...have fun!
Here at Reading Lark, we are giving away two books. (That means TWO winners!)
Giveaway #1: Sweetly by Jackson Pearce - SIGNED (YA Paranormal)
SWEETLY is a modernization of Hansel and Gretel and a companion book to SISTERS RED.
Twelve years ago, Gretchen, her twin sister, and her brother went looking for a witch in the forest. They found something. Maybe it was a witch, maybe a monster, they aren’t sure—they were running too fast to tell. Either way, Gretchen’s twin sister was never seen again.
Years later, after being thrown out of their house, Gretchen and Ansel find themselves in Live Oak, South Carolina, a place on the verge of becoming a ghost town. They move in with Sophia Kelly, a young and beautiful chocolatier owner who opens not only her home, but her heart to Gretchen and Ansel.
Yet the witch isn’t gone—it’s here, lurking in the forests of Live Oak, preying on Live Oak girls every year after Sophia Kelly’s infamous chocolate festival. But Gretchen is determined to stop running from witches in the forest, and start fighting back. Alongside Samuel Reynolds, a boy as quick with a gun as he is a sarcastic remark, Gretchen digs deeper into the mystery of not only what the witch is, but how it chooses its victims. Yet the further she investigates, the more she finds herself wondering who the real monster is, and if love can be as deadly as it is beautiful.
Giveaway #2: Blood Brothers by Josephine Cox (Adult - Thriller)
* Paperback Edition
One of the United Kingdom’s most popular authors—a #1 London Times bestseller—Josephine Cox will delight fans of Rosamund Pilcher, Barbara Delinsky, and Amanda Stevens with this heartbreaking, engrossing, electrifyingly exciting and dramatic story of a love triangle gone terribly wrong. Blood Brothers is Cox at her captivating best as she draws readers deep into this tale of two siblings with nothing in common but a desperate and dangerous desire for the same woman.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway. You know I just recently read Sisters Red - loved the cover - I didn't "love" the book so I couldn't justify buying Sweetly even though I do want to read it. I sometimes have to you know - put restraints on myself as I am a book buying fiend. So if I win it...its a win - win for me! muuuwhahahaha

Blood Brothers sounds interesting. It kind of reminds me of The Vampire Diaries when i read this "...tale of two siblings with nothing in common but a desperate and dangerous desire for the same woman." Anyway, i don't mind reading either of the two. Thank you for the giveaway!
