Goodbye to 2011: Giveaway #3
Last year we featured our top 10 favorite reads, but this year we wanted to be a little different. So, not only are we showcasing our top 11 reads of 2011, but we're also giving you a chance to win some books! Each day from December 26-31 we will highlight the list of one of our Larks. Our followers can enter to win ONE book of their choice from the list. You are free to enter each day's giveaway. The giveaways began December 26th and run through January 6th. Winners will be announced on January 7th.
Today we're featuring my adult favorites from 2011. I'm not a big fan of romance and erotica, so these are all fairly clean reads. If you choose the series, you may choose ONE book within the series that you would like to own. You will not receive every book in the series.

I read The Restorer and loved it! I'm excited to look into the others!
ReplyDeleteAnother great selection of books! This was a difficult choice to pick because they all seem interesting in their own way! Thanks, ladies!!
ReplyDeleteReally liked Melissa Marr's Graveminder!
ReplyDelete@Melissa C. - I am so glad to see someone else loved The Restorer. I can't wait to read The Kingdom (Book #2) when it comes out in April.
ReplyDelete@Jenna - Glad to see that these books caught your eye. :)
@La Luz - Graveminder was that perfect mix of great writing, fun characters, and creepiness.
That was definitely a hard choice! There were definitely some great ones to choose from.
ReplyDeleteGreat set of books.
ReplyDeleteAwesome giveaway!!

Great list, I like the variety. Restorer will be on my list also.
ReplyDelete@Andrea You are absolutely right. Graveminder: some flaws but overall I was so proud of Melissa Marr for pulling this off. I keep seeing it as the perfect movie!
ReplyDeleteThank you SO much for the awesome giveaway op!
ReplyDeleteBitten would be my choice - I do so love my werewolves!
Happy New Year!

I would love to win The Lover's Dictionary. It was one of my favorite reads this year!

Thanks for the fantastic giveaway! I love the Chicagoland Vampire series and Bitten! I haven't read Graveminder yet, but would like to!
ReplyDelete@Marce - I try to vary my genres so I don't get in a reading rut. I pushed myself to read outside my normal genres this year and it was such a great experience.
ReplyDelete@La Luz - Agreed! Graveminder would make a great movie or tv series. I especially loved the underworld elements and the whole graveminder lore.
@Gena - Even if you don't win, you should give Bitten a chance - especially if you're a wolf girl. Sigh, Clayton. I need to read the rest of that series, but I have been so bogged down with other stuff on my TBR list.
@Tara - Nice to see someone else loved The Lover's Dictionary. It was such a unique read!
@Brenda - It's always nice to meet a fellow Chicagoland fan. :)
Thanks again for the awesome giveaways! I already have a couple that are on the list, but there are several more I can't wait to read. Nice selection to choose from, looks like something for everyone! :)
ReplyDeleteLoved the peach keeper! cant wait to read the other books on the list :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome choice of books!! It would be extremely difficult to pick just one, but I would probably choose Bitten by the amazing Kelley Armstrong because I lost my copy before I could read it~! Happy New Year!!! :D
ReplyDeleteWow..another great book giveaway. so many choices....not sure which one to pick.
ReplyDeleteHappy new Year!
Thanks so much!

Cool! I'm totally entering. Though I loved 'Garden Spells' and thus am tempted by 'The Peach Keeper,' I think I'll cast my hopes upon 'Violets of March,' since I'm a Puget Sound dweller too. (And I love violets, and that cover is just so pretty.) But truly, any of 'em would be great. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThe Lover's Dictionary sounds awesome. This is a great list of books and a few have been added to my TBR list.
ReplyDeleteI loved Melissa Marr's Wicked Lovely series, and have been wanting to try out Graveminders for some time now. I'm glad to see it on your list as a yearly favorite. So, I have to enter for this chance... Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see my debut on your excellent list. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for another great lot to choose from. I would probably pick either The Murderer's Daughters or The Kitchen Daughter.
ReplyDeleteStumbled across this late...amazing giveaway, great choices! Happy 2012!
ReplyDeleteSeveral books I would love to win! Thanks for the giveaway!!
