Read my review of book #1, Paranormalcy, and my review of Supernaturally, book 2.  Also, Lend was featured as my Book Boyfriend, here

My thoughts:
Thought #1: I am an idiot for not having trusted my bookish-type friends and started this series a long time ago.

Thought #2: I am really grateful that I did not have to wait for the next book in this series to come out, since the series is so, so good.

Thought #3: Kiersten White ended this series perfectly. It is done EXACTLY right. The storylines are all wrapped up, everything is put to right, and the heroine is left to her happiness, which just might last forever.

Thought #4: Kiersten White has magical powers. She has written a series that my reluctant reader of a twelve-year-old daughter likes to read.

After having finished Endlessly, I have a serious case of author crush on Kiersten White. Her writing is so technically tight, with just the right amount of description mixed with perfectly distinct and believable characterization. It is a work of sheer brilliance to begin a series with such a light, fun tone that is maintained throughout the series, even as the storyline gets much more focused and the characters grow and mature. This is how YA should be done, people.

In Endlessly, we learn that we did not know Reth as well as we thought we did. This final journey will reveal much about his methods and motives, as well as more than he would want you to know about his uncharacteristic human side. As much as I despised Reth from the first book, I grew to appreciate him in book three.

Evie completes her journey of self-discovery, and learns about her purpose in this crazy, mixed up world full of paranormals. She also learns that, even when one has a predestined purpose, one can, and should, make carefully considered decisions.

All of your favorite things and people from the first two books are back; Vivian even makes a guest appearance. There is plenty of Lend, Jack, Raquel, and the whole human cast.

I rarely re-read books, but I do believe that this entire series will be worth a re-read. If for no other reason, to admire the sheer skill of the writing. Oh, who am I kidding? I love this world and these characters, and will happily do a re-run to spend time with them again.

I cannot wait to read more Kiersten White. Her next release, Flood and Stone, will be out this fall, followed by Mind Games, which will be out February 19.

Summary from GoodReads:

Try as she might, Evie can’t seem to escape her not-so-normal past. And what was supposed to be a blissfully normal school break is ruined when a massive group of paranormals shows up at her house, claiming that Evie is the only one who can protect them from a mysterious, perilous fate.

The deadly war between the faerie courts looms ever closer. The clock is ticking on the entire paranormal world. And its future rests solely in Evie’s hands.

So much for normal.

With a perfect blend of humor and suspense, Endlessly is everything readers could dream of in a conclusion—and the unexpected twists will keep them guessing until the very last page.
