Book Boyfriend: Noah Hutchins

We decided that Thursday needed a little pizazz and stumbled on this meme while hanging out at one of our favorite blogs, A Book and a Cupcake. So we took ourselves over to The Unread Reader to see what it was all about and join the fun. The Unread Reader features this meme on Wednesdays, but we figured moving our participation to Thursday wouldn't hurt anything. We'd love it if you'd leave a comment if you participate in this so we can check out your book boyfriends as well.

Noah Hutchins from Pushing The Limits by Katie McGarry

 Nickname: Noah

Ideal Noah: a younger Jamie Dornan

 Appearance:
Noah has shaggy brown hair, chocolate color eyes and a well defined physique.

He wears scruffy t-shirts, jeans & a leather jacket.

He is described as making jeans and a t-shirt look dangerous.

He smartens up with a white button down shirt, black tie and black army boots.

Facts about Noah:
His parents died in a house fire, and he has been through the foster care system. His little brothers are also in the system with a different set of foster parents.

He hit his first foster father to stop hit beating up his own kid, and this got Noah labelled as having ‘emotional problems’.

Noah does not trust adults.

Noah starts off the story as a stoner, but he quickly drops this habit to make a good impression with Echo.

Noah wants to reunite his family, and plans to take his brothers out of the system when he turns 18.

Noah works at a burger bar.

Noah drives a rusty car and has a reputation for taking girls into the backseat to have his way with them, on a one-night-only kind of deal.

Noah has never been in love with anyone before he meets Echo.

Noah is a flirt and a tease, and he has a delicious mischievous grin.

 Quotes:
“Luke used to give me butterflies. Noah spawned mutant pterodactyls.” Echo on Noah.

“I think I missed your answer to my previous question. If you’re on a date, why are you out here sharing dinner with me while Luke’s in there fondling himself?” Noah to Echo

“Looks like you are doing a fantastic job. Killed any goldfish lately?” Noah to his little brother’s foster mother.

“Echo you look... appetizing.” “Like chicken wing appetizing or succulent hamburger appetizing?” “Appetizing as in your boyfriend’s a moron to leave you alone.” Noah & Echo

“Echo I can’t tell you what’s going to happen because I don’t know. I don’t hold hands in the hallway or sit at anyone else’s lunch table. But I swear... on my brothers that you’ll never be a joke to me and you’ll be much more than a girl in the backseat of my car.”

 Why he’s my Book Boyfriend:
He is damaged but honourable, and he tries really hard to be a better guy. He is 100% there for his little brothers, and he would really be prepared to give up his life to make sure they were happy. Noah is such a solid guy, and he doesn’t give himself enough credit for being good. He is his own worst enemy and it is only through Echo that he starts to feel better about himself. He has never been the steady boyfriend type, but he is prepared to make positive changes in his life to be with her, give himself a chance and allow someone to love him. He is also wildly sexy when he flirtaceously stalks Echo, and pounces on her. Plus he is described as being a totally hot, which doesn’t go amiss. Noah is one of the Larks’ favourite bad-boys-turned-good.
