Magic Lamp Sunday 8/19/12

We discovered this meme at Ya-Aholic, where it runs on Fridays. It sounded like a fun addition to our lineup, but fits better here on Sundays. This is based on the basic Magic Lamp = 3 wishes idea. Since there are so many of us, though, we're just taking one each per week. 

If we had a Magic Lamp, we'd wish:
Andrea: I wish that I lived on an island. This wish was inspired by Jar Island from Burn For Burn by Jenny Han & Siobhan Vivian. 
Michele B.: I wish my cat was as smart as Grimalkin from Iron's Prophecy and the Lost Prince by Julie Kagawa.
Jen: I wish I had a friend who could magically change my appearance and make the best of what features I have. . . it would be SO much faster in the morning! This wish was inspired by Genya from Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo.
Paula: I wish I had the view enjoyed from high in The Grove in Breathe by Sarah Crossan. It sounded pretty spectacular!
