The bay was empty and its surface was a stark sheet of glass. Taylor leaned closer, and her breath condensed on the wavy vintage glass of the 1886 house. A perfect circle appeared. A circle? Then just as quickly as it came, it vanished. That feeling, a strange urgency that came from nowhere, also evaporated.
