Cover Crazy: Touch of Death

The purpose of Cover Crazy is to feature a cover each week for us to admire its beauty. I really like this idea since there are so many great covers out there! Cover Crazy is a meme that was started by The Book Worms.

This cover is just pretty. The coloring is eye catching and has hints of darkness and femininity. I am predicting this is going to be a book that has a bit of girl power. I also want this dress in my closet. The font is another element that I feel works well. Lastly, I am intrigued by the girl's facial expression. She seems to be intently watching something - almost as if she's scared or in awe - I wonder what it could be. What do you think of this cover?

  1. I just got the ARC in the mail today and I can't stop looking at it :)I absolutely loved it since I first saw it around. It's a different take on the "pretty dress" covers: you can still see the white and green fabric and her blouse/bodice. Gorgeous!

  2. Even though I'm not a huge fan of "pretty girl in a dress" covers, they seem to be a dime a dozen, this one does attract me. I think I like that only the upper half of the woman is visible and the pouffy color with white and green is pretty cool. I like the placement of the title and its font, plus the author is in a good place too.

    1. I'm a sucker for "pretty girl in a dress" covers, but I know what you mean about them being so common. I liked that this one had a different feel to it.
