Cover Crazy: Amarok

The purpose of Cover Crazy is to feature a cover each week for us to admire its beauty. I really like this idea since there are so many great covers out there! Cover Crazy is a meme that was started by The Book Worms. 

I was originally drawn to this novel because of the cover. It's a great read too, in case you were wondering. (Amarok Review) I love that the cover is mainly done in blue and white. It lends itself well to the Alaskan setting and the chilly temperatures. I also really like the textures of this one: the smoke tendrils, the moon, and the girl's scarf. This book makes me want to grab a quilt, a cup of tea, and curl up next to a fire for an evening of reading. What are your thoughts on this one?
