Teaser Tuesday: Blood on the Moon, Requiem, & Touch

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly feature, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

He took a deep breath. "I was born in Scotland in 1624, the son of a tailor in Kirkcaldy. I was bitten when I was nineteen years old, and I haven't aged since." He paused. "I'm more than three hundred years old, Faith."

I should have brought a gun. No way to turn around and run; that makes us prey, and the bear is looking for prey. Stupid. That is the rule of the Wilds: You must be bigger and stronger and tougher. You must hurt or be hurt.

~ Requiem (Delirium #3) by Lauren Oliver (ARC)

"I can't believe I'm going to do this," I said to myself. Looking down at my phone, I only hesitated a moment before throwing it at the tree behind me. The cell crashed into the trunk, shattering into several large pieces, and falling to the ground. "Come on, we have to get out of here."

  4. I was so excited to get Requiem... I won it in Lauren Oliver's competition, and she personally sent me a signed copy!! It is pretty much one of my most treasured possessions now!

And - FYI - I just finished it, and it was AMAZING. I'm holding the review until nearer release date, but the fans won't be disappointed.
