Cover Crazy: Some Quiet Place

    
The purpose of Cover Crazy is to feature a cover each week for us to admire its beauty. I really like this idea since there are so many great covers out there! Cover Crazy is a meme that was started by The Book Worms.

I found this cover right here on Reading Lark- we participated in the cover reveal, found here. (Follow the link and you'll find a giveaway!) It first caught my attention with the dress of leaves that dissipates as it approaches the ground. As I looked further, I saw that all of the images on the cover seemed to be in direct conflict with the title- the tortured figure in the foreground, the ominous clouds, and the dark, wasting late-autumn vegetation. Once I read the book's description, I quickly added it to my to-read list.
