Reading Lark's 2nd Birthday Celebration!

It's that time of year again! Time to celebrate another year that the Larks have been giving you the scoop on great reads. On behalf of all the Larks, I'd like to thank all of our readers. We also would like to thank all the wonderful authors and publishers we have had the pleasure to work with over the past year. We know that Year #3 will be even better!

First, the Larks compiled some stats to showcase our accomplishments in Year #2:

* On January 2, 2012 - We expanded and opened up Reading Lark After Dark to showcase our romance and 18+ reviews.

* Two new Larks, Jen & Michele B., joined The Nest

* We pride ourselves on posting new content daily. You can always expect a review or an author/book feature every day of the week. We take two days off for Christmas, but that is the only days you will not see amazing bookish posts on our site.

From 1/19/12 until 1/19/13:

* 314 book and novella reviews were posted

* 110 giveaways were posted 

* 53 What's Your Status posts kept you updated on the Larks' reading lists as well as all of the reviews and other happenings

* 53 Magic Lamp Sundays featuring bookish wishes from our current reads

* 53 Cover Crazies showcasing covers that have caught our eyes

* 52 Teaser Tuesday posts gave you a taste of what we've been reading

* 52 WOW posts helped you increase your TBR lists

* 50 Shopping Larks to keep you updated on the books hitting the shelves each week

* 41 authors stopped by to chat

* 25 Book Boyfriends graced your presence and stole your hearts

* 23 Book BFF's hung out with us

* 21 authors wrote guest posts for us

* 19 covers were revealed

* 6 characters stopped by The Nest to hang out and chat

It has been an amazing year for us and we cannot wait to bring you even more amazing content this year. Thanks for celebrating our birthday with us!
