Cover Crazy: The Ward

    
The purpose of Cover Crazy is to feature a cover each week for us to admire its beauty. I really like this idea since there are so many great covers out there! Cover Crazy is a meme that was started by The Book Worms.

To start with, this cover is just a beautiful piece of art.Then when we get into the symbolism, it gets even better. This is a dystopian novel, so the representation of the city right next to a drop-off is perfect. There is the light, peaceful city sky line in the background, representing how things once were and/or are in another place. The image of the person in the title causes me to question whether the title refers to a person or a place- perhaps both.
This cover promises beautiful, thrilling, scary adventures. I can't wait to read this book!
