Waiting on Wednesday: Grim Anthology

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event that is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where she spotlights upcoming releases.
This week I am waiting on...

Grim (Anthology)
By: Christine Johnson (Editor)
Publisher:  Harlequin Teen
Release Date: February 25th, 2014

The Grim Anthology has been murmured about for a few months now...and now...it is almost here!  Many of these authors are famous in their own right, but asking them to put their own twists to many of our classic fairy tales, is something I think I'm going to enjoy!

I have to admit that I haven't read many of the other authors' books yet, but I am literally DYING to read the offerings from Julie Kagawa and Jeri Smith Ready.  I am also looking at this anthology for a taste of some of the other well-known authors to get a feel for their writing styles.

Everyone knows what a huge Julie Kagawa fan I am, so if Julie writes it...I am all over it like a wet blanket!  She has such a vivid imagination and I just LOVE everything she has written to date.  I can't wait for her take on The Three Little Pigs.  I know she will turn it into something completely enthralling.

I also adored Jeri's Shade series and loved the world she built in that story so I'm anxious to read her contribution as well.

I was lucky to snag a galley of Grim...so look for my review coming soon!
