Teaser Tuesday: The Secrets Between You and Me & The Indigo Spell
Teaser Tuesday is a weekly feature, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
This trip would be good opportunity for me to get away from everything that held me back. A chance to forget about all the things my parents expected of me, like the Yale application that I still hadn't filled out, despite my mom's insistence on early admission.
In that moment, I made a resolution to myself: over the summer, I was going to be anyone but the Hannah Cohen whom everyone back home expected me to be.
~ The Secrets Between You and Me by Shana Norris, pg. 15 (ARC)
"You can think whatever you want, do whatever you want," Adrian continued, unaware of my traitorous thoughts. There was a remarkable calm about him. "I'm going to just go on loving you, even if it's hopeless."
~ The Indigo Spell (Bloodlines #3) by Richelle Mead, pg. 29
Sometimes it is a good thing to get away from yourself a little bit and do something completely unexpected! I hope you enjoy both of these books! Thanks for sharing :) Hope you have a great week!

The Secrets Between You and Me sounds like a book I'd enjoy. I'd like to find out what happens when Hannah breaks free of others' expectations.
ReplyDeleteMy Tuesday post features ALL THAT GLITTERS.
I just finished The Secrets Between You and me. I liked it a lot! My review will be posted tomorrow if you'd like to stop back by to check it out.
DeleteBoth of these are good ones. The one from Secrets made me recall a vow I made to myself right before starting high school.
