Cover Crazy: The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer

The purpose of Cover Crazy is to feature a cover each week for us to admire its beauty. I really like this idea since there are so many great covers out there! Cover Crazy is a feature that was started by The Book Worms.

This cover of book one of the Mara Dyer books has always resonated with me.  If you have read the story, you can likely see how applicable this cover is in representing Mara's life as of late.  She feels like she is sinking with all the inexplicable events that have happened, and the book cover perfectly illustrates that.  But the cover also demonstrates hope through the boy (Noah) desperately holding on to the girl (Mara).  Noah is her life preserver.
