Teaser Tuesday: The Improbable Theory of Ana and Zak, Sabriel, & Wuthering Heights
Teaser Tuesday is a weekly feature, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm.
All is lost.
The beautiful day mocks me. The slightly-less-gray-than-usual sky laughs in my face. I'm in a foul mood. I want to punch a hobbit.
~ The Improbable Theory of Ana and Zak, Kindle Location 321 (ARC)
The chanting was even worse, for very few of them had functioning mouths. Touchstone had never seen or heard a shipwreck - now he knew the sound of a thousand sailors drowning, all at once, in a quiet sea.
~ Sabriel by Garth Nix, Kindle Location 3362-3363
He was, and is yet, most likely, the wearisomest, self-righteous pharisee that ever ransacked a Bible to rake the promises to himself, and fling the curses on his neighbours.
~ Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, pg. 42
OOh nice teasers! All new to me reads for the most part! Hope you're all enjoying your read!
