Happy 5th blogoversary ladies!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite adult book is Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett and anything by Mary Higgins Clark. As far as YA goes, I love Jennifer Donnelly.
ReplyDeleteThe last book I read was 'The Black Reckoning' by John Stephens. It's the final book in the 'Books of Beginning' trilogy. It has time travel, magic, and mythical beings & creatures.
ReplyDeleteReading Lark is one of my favorite book blogging sites because your reviews usually point out if there are sexy scenes or bad language used. It gives me a heads-up so I can avoid those titles.

Hmmmm, favorite adult read -- Pride and Prejudice.
ReplyDeleteThe last book I read was A Son's Vow by Sally SHepard Gray. It is about an Amish community called Charm that suffered a big tragedy.

My favorite YA author is Lauren Oliver at the moment. But it seems to change every time I read a YA book!
ReplyDeleteComment on adult read giveaway: Thanks so much for celebrating so generously! It's really tremendous. Book bloggers make the best humans, I find. :-) As for my favorite adult read, I'd say the prize book I most covet is Descent in a tight race, as it were. To speak more generally to your point, the last contemporary fiction I really loved was History of the Rain by Niall Williams! Thanks for this and cheers, Kara S
ReplyDeleteFor giveaway #4: To answer your question, today I finished a very interesting book providing an introduction to modern witchcraft/Wicca practices. I am curious about all religions and spiritual practices. Here is the llnk to the free kindle copy: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XLE5ODK/ref=gi_dp_gtfa
