Cover Crazy: How to Disappear

The purpose of Cover Crazy is to feature a cover each week for us  to admire its beauty. I really like this idea since there are so many great covers out there! Cover Crazy is a meme that was started by The Book Worms.

How to Disappear by Ann Redisch Stampler

It's great to see a cover that is nearly monochromatic, yet creates such a powerful image. It seems as though someone has tried to scratch out this girl- has tried to make her disappear. Despite the damage, though, there she is- peeking through all the gouges and scrapes. She has been made different, but instead of appearing to be less than she was before, she is more intriguing. I want to hear her story.
