Cover Crazy: Waer

The purpose of Cover Crazy is to feature a cover each week for us  to admire its beauty. I really like this idea since there are so many great covers out there! Cover Crazy is a meme that was started by The Book Worms.

This week I'm featuring Waer by Meg Caddy

The picture really doesn't do this cover justice as it appears in person. The title is foiled and shimmers beautifully. I love the way the wolf and the girl stand tall against the moon on the horizon, and there's a hint of a hilltop city, a peaceful valley, and some claw scratches. The sky is dark and menacing, and the shadow that covers the hill looks like it's going to make its way into the valley.

All these elements come together in a story that is beautifully told.
