Cover Crazy: Eliza and Her Monsters

The purpose of Cover Crazy is to feature a cover each week for us to admire its beauty. I really like this idea since there are so many great covers out there! Cover Crazy is a feature that was started by The Book Worms.

The combination of realistic and fantasy in this cover instantly drew my eye. I love that the photograph of the girl is blurry except for her paint covered hands. It makes me think the character will be artistic and creative. I also love the loving way the hands are cradling the intricate drawings. Green is my favorite color so I'm a big fan of that choice for the title font.
