Sixteen-year-old Noa has been a victim of the system ever since her parents died. Now living off the grid and trusting no one, she uses her computer-hacking skills to stay safely anonymous and alone. But when she wakes up on a table in an empty warehouse with an IV in her arm and no memory of how she got there, Noa starts to wish she had someone on her side.
Enter Peter Gregory. A rich kid and the leader of a hacker alliance, Peter needs people with Noa's talents on his team. Especially after a shady corporation called AMRF threatens his life in no uncertain terms.
But what Noa and Peter don't realize is that Noa holds the key to a terrible secret, and there are those who'd stop at nothing to silence her for good.
Fans of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo will devour the story of Noa, a teen soul mate to Lisbeth Salander.

I love the twist of bringing technology (besides the usual cell phone or email) and computer programming/hacking into a young adult story. It's not done often so I think the story will be refreshing.
ReplyDeleteFirstly I think the cover is awesome, very original than most of the YA out there, and I am curious as to how she got on that table and why.
ReplyDeleteThe overall premise for this book sounds extremely exciting and a touch scary. I also love pretty much anything that explores social classes in any way; never known "why", just know I "do". It tends to mess with peoples' personalities, and their perceptions of each other, for whatever reason. And that can make for interesting fiction, especially within YA. (Isn't it odd how things we don't want in "real life" tend to do that in fiction?)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!

ReplyDeleteSeems like a great read. Awesome Cover as well.
ReplyDeleteThis looks so interesting! I like the fact that Peter isn't the typical jerk character. I have no idea why that's a popular theme. The plot seems right up my alley, too.
ReplyDeleteI love mysteries like this. I love when there's a big conspiracy too!
