Reading Lark is very excited to participate in this fun giveaway hop hosted by I Am a Reader, Not a Writer. The giveaway runs January 29 - February 4. Our Rafflecopter form opened a little bit early - so you can enter now. The winner will be contacted on February 5 via email and will be listed on the giveaway page. Our giveaway is open to residents of the US and Canada.

Tons of great blogs are participating in this hop, so be sure to check out what's being given away at each blog. You have a ton of chances to win some really great books! Most importantly...have fun!

Here at Reading Lark we have a copy of Don't Turn Around by Michelle Gagnon up for grabs. This giveaway is open to US and Canadian residents only and requires the winner to be 13+ years of age.

Sixteen-year-old Noa has been a victim of the system ever since her parents died. Now living off the grid and trusting no one, she uses her computer-hacking skills to stay safely anonymous and alone. But when she wakes up on a table in an empty warehouse with an IV in her arm and no memory of how she got there, Noa starts to wish she had someone on her side.

Enter Peter Gregory. A rich kid and the leader of a hacker alliance, Peter needs people with Noa's talents on his team. Especially after a shady corporation called AMRF threatens his life in no uncertain terms.

But what Noa and Peter don't realize is that Noa holds the key to a terrible secret, and there are those who'd stop at nothing to silence her for good.

Fans of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo will devour the story of Noa, a teen soul mate to Lisbeth Salander.

To win you must be 13+ years of age. This giveaway is open to residents of the United States and Canada.

  1. I love the twist of bringing technology (besides the usual cell phone or email) and computer programming/hacking into a young adult story. It's not done often so I think the story will be refreshing.

  2. Firstly I think the cover is awesome, very original than most of the YA out there, and I am curious as to how she got on that table and why.

  3. The overall premise for this book sounds extremely exciting and a touch scary. I also love pretty much anything that explores social classes in any way; never known "why", just know I "do". It tends to mess with peoples' personalities, and their perceptions of each other, for whatever reason. And that can make for interesting fiction, especially within YA. (Isn't it odd how things we don't want in "real life" tend to do that in fiction?)

    Thanks for the giveaway!
