We decided that Thursday needed a little pizazz and stumbled on this feature while hanging out at one of our favorite blogs, A Book and a Cupcake. So we took ourselves over to The Unread Reader to see what it was all about and join the fun. The Unread Reader features this meme on Wednesdays, but we figured moving our participation to Thursday wouldn't hurt anything.  * Blond hair 

*  Crystal blue eyes 

* Just enough scruff on his jaw to give him a masculine look without making him too hairy. 

* A face that could make angels sing 

* Perfect teeth 

*  Broad shoulders and a well muscled physique 

 My perfect Garrick is Michael Fassbender. *swoons*

Facts about Garrick: 

 * He is British. 

* He hates Shakespeare. 

*  His family, in particular his mother, is a handful. 

* He is a graduate with an MFA in acting from Temple University in Philadelphia. 

* He goes back into the classroom and comes face to face with Bliss, the girl who ran out on him in the middle of the night, and officially one of his students. 

* Garrick tries really hard to be professional and push aside his feelings for Bliss, but he struggles.

Why he’s my Book Boyfriend: 

 Garrick just has a certain something which seems to make every woman who reads Losing It weak in the knees. Maybe for some it is his British accent, but as a Brit myself, I’m immune. So for me, it is his grinning confidence, which he carries off without becoming arrogant. He knows what he wants, and he knows it is forbidden (*swoon*), so he fights his feelings but ultimately he is overwhelmed by them. There is nothing hotter than a man who can’t help how much he loves a leading lady. The kind of guy who is a gentleman, who would lay down his cape over a puddle so a lady could pass without getting her feet wet... (dreaming of Ye Olde British Gentlemen here). 

 I also love how he comes to know Bliss almost better than she knows herself. He knows when she is ready and when she isn't, and he gives her space to grow and change, while always being her when she needs him, even when it could cost him his job.
