Author Interview: Jacqueline Green

We're excited to welcome the author of the Truth or Dare series, Jacqueline Green, to Reading Lark today. She's here to celebrate the recent release of Kiss and Tell, the final installment in the series.

Andrea @ Reading Lark: Which of your characters would you want to have with you on a deserted island?

Jacqueline: I think I have to say the darer. I mean, this person is *crafty.* The darer would definitely get us off that island...as long as he or she didn't kill me first.

Andrea @ Reading Lark: Do you prefer truths or dares?

Jacqueline: I'm a wimp in real life, so truth. Definitely truth.

Andrea @ Reading Lark: What was the best part of writing a novel with thriller like elements?

Jacqueline: Like I said, I'm a wimp in real life (seriously: I can barely make it through a horror movie!), so it was really fun for me to create those thriller/scary scenes, but get to be completely in control of them. Even still, I scared myself while writing a few times!

Andrea @ Reading Lark: If this novel was a cupcake, which kind would it be?

Jacqueline: Chocolate with vanilla frosting: Light elements on the surface, but darkness at the heart. (Fun question!)

Jacqueline Green received a BA from Cornell University and an MFA in writing for children from the New School, She grew up in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania and now ives in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband and their tiny dog.
