Cover Crazy: A Million Junes

The purpose of Cover Crazy is to feature a cover each week for us to admire its beauty. I really like this idea since there are so many great covers out there! Cover Crazy is a feature that was started by The Book Worms.

I love the combination of gold and darkness on this cover. The background image looks like a mountain top to me, so I am thinking that might hint at the setting of this one. I also want to know if June is just a character in the novel or if the month plays a role. The gold makes me think that there is something special and significant about June. The gold also makes me think of the Robert Frost poem. I've had this beauty on my TBR list for awhile, but haven't managed to work it in yet.
