Abbey Fuller has been struggling to keep her head above water for awhile. She had her son, Max, at a young age and had to put aside her career aspirations in favor of a steady income. She gave up on the idea of being an interior designer and decided to become a nurse since it seemed like a more stable profession, but things are starting to look up for her when one of her patients insists that she design for her wealthy grandson to make his home more cozy before the family descends for the holidays.

Nicholas Sinclair is handsome, rich, and far too busy to worry about the interior decorating of his expansive home. He just wants to continue to operate his business like a well oiled machine and keep his grandmother as happy as possible. Rather than fight her when she suggests hiring Abbey he gives in easily. It will make his grandmother happy and his house will feel more like a home for the holidays.

Neither Abbey nor Nicholas bargains for what sparks between them as the project moves forward, but Christmas has a way of melting even the most frozen of hearts. Love swirls in the air and a little holiday magic might just bring these two singletons together.

If you're a fan of Hallmark movies at this time of year, this is the read for you. Grab some cocoa, a warm blanket, fuzzy slippers, and cuddle up with Abbey and Nicholas' story. This story is sweet and a perfect Christmas time read. I plan to give Hale's other holiday novels a read in the future.

One Last Gripe: It was slightly predictable, but still a fun read.

Favorite Thing About This Book: The holiday aspect

A feel-good story about the magic of Christmas... and the rush of falling in love under the mistletoe.

Single mother Abbey Fuller loves her family more than anything, and she doesn't regret for a moment having had to put her dreams of being an interior designer on hold. But with her son, Max, growing up, she jumps at the chance when a friend recommends her for a small design job. How hard can it be?

Nick Sinclair needs his house decorated in time for his family's festive visit-and money is no object. What he doesn't need is to be distracted from his multimillion-dollar business-even if it is Christmas.

When Abbey pulls up to the huge Sinclair mansion, she has a feeling she might be out of her depth. And when she meets the gorgeous, brooding Nicholas Sinclair, she knows that she's in real trouble . . .

With the snow falling all around them, can Abbey make her dreams of being a designer come true? And can she help Nick to finally enjoy the magic of Christmas?
